As part of the Street Team, you’ll get first hand experience in marketing and sales. You will have flexible schedules with opportunities on weekdays and weekends, and hours fluctuating week by week. You should only apply for this position if you love talking with strangers, have an outgoing personality, and are passionate about changing the way people get around cities.
Brand Ambassadors will also work with a member of the Via team on a personal project of their own development aimed at generating rider growth in a new and novel way, from ideation to evaluation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Execute tailor-made marketing campaigns to spread the word about Via.
Distribute marketing materials, represent Via at events, and educate people about Via in different capacities.
Become an expert on Via – develop a nuanced understanding of our service to be able to pitch Via to new riders.
Outgoing and sociable -- you are not afraid to approach others and talk to them
Charismatic, professional and friendly -- you are the face of Via’s brand
A savvy, tactful, and graceful communicator – you intuitively find the right tone in every situation with anyone
Previous work as a brand ambassador is a plus

The Brand Ambassador will be expected to spend 5-7 hours per week on marketing efforts, with periodic visits to the DC office to develop their personal growth initiative.
