As the VP of Platform Marketing, you’ll lead the team that drives the marketing strategy and its execution for Via’s Platform business (our term for our B2B and B2G markets). This global role is focused on raising Via's visibility among key stakeholder groups and a set of target accounts, generating inbound sales inquiries, nurturing leads to qualification, and supporting retention and expansion efforts. You will oversee full funnel activity - developing multi channel campaigns, and should have a strong understanding of marketing automation, metrics, ABM strategies, and ROI reporting. You will develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the target markets for our Platform business and build Platform marketing programs in cooperation with Sales, Product, and the broader Marketing organization. You are an exceptional B2B marketer with a successful track record, and a leader who can build a team and inspire and develop world-class talent.

What You'll Do

Leadership/Management

  • Collaborate with the Partnership Team (sales organization) and Business Development to develop a plan that supports near and long-term sales targets around the globe 
  • Help craft and be accountable for quarterly metrics
  • Identify and partner with external agencies as appropriate
  • Lead and inspire a global team of marketers
  • Partner with executives and colleagues across the Via organization to drive success 
  • Understand marketing tech stack, and shape point of view about investments 
  • Work closely with PR, design, digital and other marketing team members/capabilities

Demand Generation

  • Develop the global acquisition strategy that integrates multiple channels and capabilities to drive demand from the top to the bottom of the funnel 
  • Understand market segments and customer personas to build effective programs 
  • Design, build, measure, and optimize programs for the sales funnel
  • Manage the global content and campaign calendars to inspire and engage our audiences 
  • Partner closely with business leadership to develop strategies for expanding established markets and opening new markets
  • Respond quickly and evolve with the changing needs of the business 
  • Be accountable for measurable performance targets

Retention/Expansion

  • Implement account based marketing programs for key accounts 
  • Provide support to Customer Success Team for client expansion and up-selling 
  • Conduct research and surveys to better understand consumer behavior and industry trends, publishing them to generate brand awareness

Who You Are

  • Have 7+ years’ marketing experience including marketing to B2B/B2G audiences
  • Have 4+ years of experience developing and managing a high-performing marketing team
  • Experienced across field and digital marketing including events, contents, email, and advertising
  • Expert in developing, forecasting and managing the marketing pipeline including goals for leads, MQLs, and pipeline
  • Have the ability to optimize the marketing mix using performance data and your knowledge of marketing levers
  • Demonstrate proven ability to develop inspiring multi-channel campaigns to grow market demand
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to prioritize, delegate and execute in a strong team environment
  • Experienced working with CRM and email tools such as Salesforce and Pardot
  • Demonstrate strong writing and editing skills
  • Show ability to maintain consistent pace of marketing activity
  • Have Bachelor’s degree with high level of academic achievement
  • Agile and flexible
  • Detail oriented and deadline-driven
