Principal Engineer
VGW is a fast-growing technology company and creator of market-leading online social games, on a mission to become the biggest gaming company in the world.
We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join our team.
As a Principal Engineer at VGW, you will tackle intricate and challenging problems, offering unique solutions that others might not envision. You’ll contribute significantly to the back end of a new customer account management system for part of a new platform that will host millions of players.
Tech we use
The main technologies you will use include AWS, Kotlin, DynamoDB and Kafka.
What you bring
- Proven expertise in managing cloud-based infrastructure, especially on platforms like AWS, Azure, and ECP.
- Strong technical proficiency in back and front end architecture in languages including (or similar to) Kotlin and Typescript.
- Strong knowledge of back end database systems.
- Ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, offering mentorship and guidance while steering projects from inception to deployment and operation.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a track record of leveraging new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation.
