Senior Engineer
VGW is a fast-growing technology company and creator of market-leading online social games. With offices around the globe, we’re on a mission to be the biggest gaming company in the world.
Due to major growth we are expanding our Engineering team in Poland and currently looking for a Senior Engineer to join the team.
As a Senior Engineer in our Growth team, you will be pivotal in integrating new games into VGW's existing systems, ensuring fun and exciting new games reach our players.
What you’ll love about our team
- Ownership and Empowerment: You’ll lead projects from concept to execution; design it, build it, run it.
- Modern Practices: Born in the cloud, we embrace continuous integration/deployment, Infrastructure as Code, and cybersecurity.
Tech we use
Our typical tech stack includes AWS, Kubernetes for microservices, Kotlin, TypeScript, and Terraform. Languages specific to this role include mobile frameworks (like Swift), game engines (like Unity) and other languages like C# and Java.
What you bring
- Experience with multiplatform system integrations using diverse technologies.
- Proven ability to deliver robust web and cloud solutions, especially in high-load environments.
- Strong skills in software design, clean coding, and automated testing.
- Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
