Animal Health Care Denver is a locally owned animal veterinary practice in Denver dedicated to taking care of your pets when they need it most. We offer a full range of medical services for your pets, including preventative care such as annual exams and vaccines, dental care including polishing and cleaning, radiography, and extraction, surgical procedures including both elective (spay/neuter) and emergency surgeries.

At Animal Health Care Denver, we’re home to Dr. Cathryn Sayer, who has led the practice since 2014. Under Dr. Sayer’s direction, we specialize in both specialty surgeries and procedures as well as general veterinary medicine in order to give you and your pet everything you need for a happy and healthy relationship.

Who are we looking for?

Must have a strong work ethic, preserve a positive personality, capable of communicating effectively, be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast paced environment, have the ability to work in harmony with a team, and have a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients as well as clients.

Schedule:
This is a full-time need, working Mon-Fri from 7:30am-6:30p and rotating Saturdays from 7:30a-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

Assisting Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians.
Handling and restraining pets for exams and procedures.
Assist in the taking of x-rays
Monitor and collect urine and fecal samples as needed
Monitor, record, and report physical signs of hospitalized/boarded pets
Responsible for cleaning/maintenance of hospital.
Care of hospitalized/boarded pets as needed
Fecal parasite sample collection and preparation
Preparation of a prescription drug, other than a controlled substance, for dispensing
Surgical assistance to a licensed veterinarian
