Northside is a full-service animal hospital that sees both emergency cases as well as pet patients in need of medical, surgical and dental care. Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager or Veterinary Hospital Manager with at least 2+ years of recent experience. Must be okay with working part time on the floor in both the back and up front. Be a strong leader who is comfortable with P&L, inventory, training and development, clinical HR functions (SOPs, evaluations, disciplinary action), and client service. This clinic is very busy and fast-paced, so the ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and prioritize competing demands. 
 
Requirements & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include day-to-day operations with a major focus on strong personnel management responsibilities, including hiring, training and development, as well as overall hospital management, such as scheduling and inventory.
  • A strong commitment to the client experience is imperative to be successful in this position. Other valuable traits include strong initiative, understanding the balance needed between business and staff needs, and leading by example.
  • Must have strong capabilities in: organization and prioritization, mathematical analysis (data management & interpretation, problem solving, and deductive reasoning), computer systems (our practice management system), and the ability to both formulate plans for improvement on your own and in conjunction with the rest of the management team.
