Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is a rapidly expanding emergency company with 30+ hospital locations across the United States. Our mission is helping people and their pets when they need it most. Founded and led by an ER veterinarian Dr. David Bessler, we are revolutionizing emergency medicine by improving clinical outcomes and access to care, while creating unparalleled career opportunities, support and a fun work environment for all employees aka VEGgies.
We are looking to add more superheroes to our growing family of amazing VEGgies who will spearhead our mission in our current hospitals in the United States and future locations across Canada as they open.

We are looking for talented and energetic Emergency Veterinarians to join the VEG family in our hospitals in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut! Interested in ER but need extra skills? No problem. Ask about our structured mentorship program.

If you’re the ideal candidate, you:
- Have earned a DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA accredited college
- Are fulfilled by helping others

- Live and breathe emergency medicine - or you want to learn how to
- Are passionate about emergency surgery (the soft tissue kind!) - don’t feel you have the skills? We will teach you.
