Verve seeks a gifted, motivated Senior Manager, Product Marketing to join our team in New York City. Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, this individual will be responsible for driving demand and activation for all Verve products, with a specific focus on programmatic supply and demand. The ideal candidate has an expert understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and excels at grasping complex concepts and translating them into clear, well-articulated selling points. S/he will serve as a subject matter expert and collaborate with cross-functional teams on product strategy, messaging, positioning, research, thought leadership, and marketing/sales collateral.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively bring products to market by defining differentiated product positioning, key benefits, and value proposition of programmatic offering; collaborate with teammates to ensure fit within overall product portfolio and Verve story 
  • Work closely with product, sales, and operations to understand marketplace trends and client communication needs
  • Partner with sales, client services, corporate marketing, product management, and strategic partnerships teams to plan, develop, and execute sales and marketing materials, including external collateral (presentations, one-sheets, case studies, thought leadership, white papers, webinars, playbooks, etc.) and internal resources (training, FAQs, sales guides, etc.)
  • Gather market feedback, monitor competition, and continuously evaluate product positioning
  • Identify and initiate demand and lead generation campaigns and collaborate on product-centric trade show initiatives in partnership with corporate marketing
  • Develop relationships with strategic partners and lead joint marketing activities

 Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in product marketing, product management, or marketing in ad tech or programmatic advertising; experience with B2B SaaS products a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem — across both supply and demand — with a focus on mobile and programmatic advertising a must
  • Demonstrated success developing marketing strategies and plans, coordinating new product launches, and creating compelling product stories and materials
  • Exemplary talent for simplifying complex concepts and effectively communicating their benefits
  • Highly collaborative and proficient at building relationships across diverse teams and executing swiftly on a shared vision
  • Resilient, adaptable, and flexible cross-functional team player energized by working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, often ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills, along with a keen eye for quality and detail
  • Solid grasp of design and layout principles as well as proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, especially Powerpoint; experience with Adobe Creative suite preferred
