Overview
Verkada’s Growth Data Science and Analytics team is looking for a talented leader to play an integral role in leveraging our data and technology to help our marketing team run better, faster, and smarter. You will have the opportunity to work directly with leadership to play a vital role in both creating and driving world-class insights that will drive the next phase of growth here at Verkada.
As the Manager of the Marketing Analytics team, you'll lead the development of key metrics and insights essential for driving maximizing campaign ROI within the organization. A person in this role will spearhead the development of impactful solutions including revenue attribution, GTM data insights, and automated intent signals contributing directly to the success of our business.
Responsibilities
- Work with Verkada’s Executives and GTM Leaders to build robust attribution frameworks that meet the growing needs of our business
- Build out a small team of world-class data analysts to deliver cutting-edge insights that will drive incremental revenue for the marketing team
- Architect comprehensive A/B testing frameworks aimed at optimizing campaign performance and maximizing impact
- Spearhead innovation by conceptualizing and implementing KPIs pivotal in shaping business decisions, while establishing resilient data pipelines to sustain them
- Effectively communicate intricate concepts across all departments, securing buy-in and fostering trust in our systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and impeccable data analysis skills
- Strong ability to solve ambiguous problems by proposing the best of multiple viable solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization and transformation tools (Looker, Airflow, DBT, etc).
- Track record of presenting KPIs and impenetrable data-driven recommendations through story to senior leadership
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Direct relevant experience in a related field (Growth Analytics, Data Science, Product Analytics, etc)
- Experience building and architecting data pipelines.
- Familiarity with business systems: Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, or similar.
Pay Disclosure
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
