Verisign helps enable the security, stability, and resiliency of the internet. We are a trusted provider of internet infrastructure services for the networked world and deliver unmatched performance in domain name system (DNS) services.

We are a mission focused, values driven company where each individual can contribute to building a stronger, more secure internet.  We offer a dynamic and flexible work environment with competitive benefits and the ability to grow your career.

The UX Designer will be responsible for crafting intuitive, visually engaging digital experiences across Verisign’s marketing websites, web applications and internal enterprise tools. This role requires a strong blend of UX strategy and visual design expertise, with a focus on creating high-quality, user-centered designs that align with business objectives.

As part of a cross-functional hybrid team, you will work closely with other UX designers, developers, marketing managers, and researchers to design and refine digital experiences—everything from concepting, low-fidelity wireframing, and rapid prototyping, to designing high-fidelity mockups with specifications for handoff to our development partners. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for visual, branding, typography, layout, and motion design, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role may also support broader creative initiatives, including digital marketing, web publishing, advertising and production projects and tasks.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact digital experiences in a dynamic, collaborative environment. If you have a passion for user-centered design, compelling visuals, and digital storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX and visual design, creating best-in-class digital experiences
  • Expertise in designing task flows, site maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for responsive web and mobile applications, applying design system guidelines when appropriate
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Deep understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy in digital design
  • Ability to translate user research, business needs, and creative direction into polished, high-quality designs
  • Familiarity with user research methodologies and using analytics to inform design improvements
  • Working knowledge of the latest accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and how to apply them in digital experiences
  • Experience collaborating closely with developers to ensure seamless design-to-development handoff
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or front-end development to enhance collaboration with developers
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban workflows and managing tasks in JIRA
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and masterfully articulate design decisions to stakeholders
  • Willingness to support additional visual design projects, including digital marketing assets and branding initiatives, as needed
  • An online portfolio showcasing your excellent UX and visual design work

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with branding, logo design, and maintaining design systems
  • Motion design and video editing skills using After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lottie, or similar tools
