About the Role:

As Vercel’s Senior Manager, Performance Marketing you will be the owner of our digital advertising strategy and execution primarily focusing on platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, Google Search, Google Display and YouTube. You will take ownership of our digital advertising channels, evaluate and grow our current campaigns, and craft a plan to achieve pipeline objectives.

This role requires a collaborative spirit and a proven ability to work seamlessly with teams across revenue marketing, product marketing, marketing operations, content, brand design and web development. The ideal candidate will bring a deep-seated expertise in digital marketing strategy and execution, underscored by a successful track record in leveraging cutting-edge technology and analytics to drive growth across a comprehensive digital advertising program, astute budget management, and rigorous performance analysis. You will report to Director of Growth and will be located in hybrid (San Francisco or New York City).

What You Will Do:

  • Own & execute Vercel’s entire paid acquisition program for all our digital channels

    Through research and triangulation of inputs and your own assumptions, you will form a plan and budget to achieve the right set of outcomes through an integrated, digital campaign. The goal is to generate awareness, interest, and conversion for Vercel’s Enterprise & self-serve products. You will be living in our ad platforms and reporting on trends and performance.

  • Build awareness.

    Determine the content and interactions needed to generate interest and build reputation with target audience (individual developers and engineering leaders). This will include how we show up on our website and other digital properties and external communities.

  • Drive engagement that converts into Enterprise pipeline or activated sign-ups

    You’ll determine the appropriate strategies to harvest awareness and ultimately drive people to sign up for Vercel or down-funnel lead captures.

  • Test, optimize, repeat

    You’ll monitor performance closely and at all levels, and you will look at ways to test and optimize to achieve the best results. You’ll be the data-driven voice of the strategy, performance, and recommendations for how we achieve a digital presence and desired outcomes.

    Campaign optimization: keyword and search term management, ad copy creation and testing, landing page testing, and bid and budget management.

  • Create strong cross-functional relationships

    In tandem with Demand Gen, PMM, & Dev Rel you will develop digital strategies for Enterprise demand generation campaigns and self-serve sign ups. Strategies may cover multiple buyer journey stages with tactics ranging from lead generation to re-engagement and pipeline acceleration.

About You:

  • 4+ years experience in digital advertising and performance analytics, as demonstrated by a track record of significant growth metrics in roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and scaling digital advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and other platforms, leading to positive ROI & pipeline generation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in budget management, with a strategic approach to allocating resources across multiple campaigns to achieve optimal ROI.
  • Excellent analytical skills, evidenced by the ability to craft and oversee data-driven strategies that substantially increase SQOs, pipeline growth, and overall market presence.
  • Excellent project management skills; you pride yourself on keeping the trains running when collaborating cross-functionally
  • Excellent writer and communicator, can succinctly explain concepts in plain language
  • A track record of effective collaboration within cross-functional teams, contributing to integrated marketing efforts that enhance brand voice and market position.

  • Understands basic web development principles and can work with Engineering teams
  • Have previously worked at a dev tools company or sold to a technical audience

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $146,000.00 - $204,000.00.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
