Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. Position Overview: This is a Techno Functional role and essential to have skill and experience in the PM (Plant Maintenance) and MM (Materials Management) modules of SAP along with experience on ABAP Programming. The position demands in-depth knowledge & experience in MM/PM process design and configuration, integration, testing and deployment. This position entails design/development & support of business initiatives ensuring that Venture Global's procurement and inventory management processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support on SAP PM/MM modules which includes troubleshooting issues, providing guidance on best practices, implementing fixes and enhancements.
  • Support SAP MM and PM modules to satisfy organization’s business requirements by working with system integrators & AMS service providers.
  • Be a trusted advisor, helping the business make better, informed decisions by presenting relevant SAP MM/PM solution alternatives for key challenges; evaluate business and system impact of proposed changes.
  • Confidently and assertively liaison with business users and management.
  • Collaborate efficiently with BU/IT & other vendors to ensure that the SAP MM/PM module is integrated with other SAP modules, such as FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), DMS (Document Management System), Planning & Scheduling.
  • Perform Unit testing & support User Acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets business requirement.
  • Partner with multiple business units in a service provider environment of continuous change and support
  • Develop documentation that effectively feeds training and change management activities.
  • Good Knowledge on APIs and Proxies.
  • Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Design and implement custom functionalities, user exits, and enhancements to optimize SAP system performance and meet business objectives.
  • Stay updated in SAP’s MM / PM related space on the latest tools, and trends, and recommend improvements and innovations to enhance system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, project managers, and technical teams, to deliver high-quality SAP solutions on time and within budget.
  • Continually review the SAP MM / PM module and identify areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for production support issues that arise. This involves techno functional knowledge for troubleshooting issues to determine whether process, development, security, or configuration needs to change.
  • Participate User access review & Audit processes.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related area, engineering or information systems or additional related experience.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting integrated software systems including SAP MM/PM with configuration experience.
  • Excellent business process analysis and redesign experience, business analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM (Material Management) & PM (Plant Maintenance) business processes, configuration and functional specification design.
  • Experience partnering with management and staff in a team-based environment.
  • Work independently and in cooperation with others on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities.
  • Extensive business and systems analysis skills that support applications development.
  • A good understanding of operational processes within a company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship management skills
  • Extensive experience in the PM & MM modules of SAP, with a solid understanding of their business processes and integration points.
  • Experience in ABAP programming language, including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits, ABAP Proxies. Good understanding of SAP data structures, data models, and database tables related to PM/MM modules.
  • Great to have: Hands-on experience as an ABAP Programmer in SAP environments. Technical expertise in core development, enhancements, workflow, custom reports as well as debugging using the following: ABAP Proxies, SAP Classes (objects), RFC’s, BAPI’s/Function Modules/User Exits.
  • Must be customer-service oriented and adaptable to ongoing changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • SAP S/4HANA both from technical and functional perspective
  • Oil and Gas industry experience
