Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. We are seeking an experienced team member to join us as a Spare Part Coordinator within the Procurement function in Cameron, LA or Houston, TX. This person is responsible for coordinating all aspects of spare parts identification, selection, validation, budgeting, optimization, etc. This position is also responsible for coordinating with stakeholders to maintain all relevant data throughout the spare parts lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the Spare Parts Management Process
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering personnel to establish material specifications and taxonomy used throughout the system
- Review product drawings and specifications to identify spare parts required to maintain operating systems. To include: SPILs, SPIRs, BOMs, and product flat sheets
- Review material master data fields to ensure the information matches the equipment physically utilized and installed in the plant
- Update and maintain material BOM lists for equipment numbers
- Identify duplicate items in the database and make recommendations for correction
- Make recommendations on stocking quantities based on number of installed items in the plant, time to replenish, and cost of the material
- Monitor the new and updated material workflow, ensuring all items are created with the approved information
- Implement best practices in identifying and adding additional material
- Implement best practices in processing and replacing obsolete material identified in the system
- Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results
- Collaborate with Finance to help budget for spare parts procurement, consumption and replenishment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of five years maintenance or supply chain experience in the oil and gas industry; Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities highly preferred
- Skills:
- Ability to build relationships and in engage with stakeholders across the organization
- Demonstrated ability to review engineering drawings and specifications
- Demonstrated ability to identify material in the field based on functional location and equipment number
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and operations processes
- Advanced level of attention to detail
- Self-starter with ability to work strategically under little direction; Ability to focus on meeting/exceeding performance parameters
- A strong working relationship and collaborative partner in the interactions of maintenance activities and performance in conjunction with reliable sustained operation
- Experience with SAP
