About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to help us transform how organizations find, buy, and manage software. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on a core product experience, owning design throughout the product development lifecycle from ideation and conceptualization all the way through interaction and visual design. 

The Vendr platform sits at the intersection of our customers’ complex workflows and information streams. We are especially looking for designers with a customer-centered mindset and proven skills in information architecture and systems thinking. Day-to-day, you’ll be leveraging best practices in product design to empower the team and deliver business value, including Design Sprints, rapid prototyping, collaborating on research, defining design specifications, participating in design reviews, contributing to our design system, and designing effective, efficient, and beautiful solutions to challenging problems.

Your responsibilities would be...
  • Collaborate in Design Sprints to rapidly prototype, evaluate, and iterate on challenging design problems in tight cycles
  • Turn conceptual ideas into realistic product designs that address strategic and tactical goals, and help drive product discussions
  • Deliver production-ready specs and follow the work through implementation, release, and post-release to measure success and learn with your cross-functional team.
  • Propose new ideas, share your work early and often, and give constructive feedback to ensure a cohesive design language
  • Advocate for a great user experience as part of a fully remote team that values experimentation, iteration, and a willingness to take risks
  • Optimize product experiences that drive revenue & improve retention
  • Manage competing priorities and act on decisions in the face of ambiguity


Who we're looking for...

  • You have 8+ years of experience designing at fast-paced B2B SaaS companies delivering customer value quickly to the market
  • You have a portfolio that demonstrates a firm grasp of visual design, the ability to solve challenging user problems, and experience creating design assets in aggressive product development cycles
  • You have expert knowledge of rapid prototyping and can leverage tools to quickly iterate and solve complex UX problems (Figma, Proto.io, etc)
  • You’re a seasoned, full-stack designer who can drive experiences from discovery to delivery
  • You have experience working in an agile environment with design, product, & engineering leaders to align on product strategy and make it real as a team
  • You’re well-versed in data-informed product design & development
  • You’re passionate about design culture. You’re a voice of design principles & methods across all functions and levels of the organization
  • You drive collaboration across Product Design, Engineering & Product teams to maintain a cohesive design and experience throughout the product
