We are looking for a Sales Assistant who can deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes in EMEA. 

What will you be doing?

The Sales Assistant provides administrative and operational support for Velocity’s sales force to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes.

Your main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound sales order process
  • Assist the Sales organization to ensure the effective development and execution of system training, processes, and policies

In addition, you will also be expected to:

  • Enter, modify, and maintain requirements and order information in Velocity’s ERP
  • Coordinate with purchasing team on behalf of salesperson, at times
  • Coordinate with Inspection and Distribution Centers to resolve order issues to ensure orders are shipped on time
  • Create and link Sales Orders; Create Purchase Orders, as required
  • Data entry, as related to the Sales process
  • Order changes and problem resolution
  • Create Service Orders
  • Create RMA’s
  • Stock allocations, lot assignments, and product records (as permitted)

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Traits

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 4-year college degree preferred
  • No experience required; 1+ years of office or sales experience preferred

Required Knowledge

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Computer literate; Experience with complex ERP systems preferred

Work Environment

  • Applicants must be based in Augsburg, Germany
  • Work is performed both in the office and remotely (hybrid)
  • Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 17:00.  Additional hours may be required.
