What will you be doing?

The Director of Sales APAC is directly accountable for managing and developing the Company’s Sales within their region in order to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes.

Your main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Achieve objectives for sales volume, profit, cost control, and market share growth
  • Identify and develop strategic business opportunities
  • Manage the day to day sales operations of Velocity’s APAC region
  • Responsible for managing and developing all sales personnel in the APAC region
  • Deliver strategic business partners growth
  • Achieve Approved Vendor status with strategic regional business partners
  • Work with Management to ensure a coherent top down/bottom up strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure achievement of business objectives
  • Represent and communicate Velocity’s culture, core values, and value proposition

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

Required Education

  • 4-year college degree

Required Experience

  • Management experience in a similar position

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years of sales or business development management experience in the electronic components industry

Required Knowledge

  • Computer literate 
  • Proficient with office productivity software

Preferred Knowledge

  • Familiar with complex ERP systems
