What will you be doing?
The Regional Manager of Quality and Operations manages the Quality and Operations team, ensures product conforms to our customers’ requirements, and assists with responding to customer concerns related to product quality.
In addition, you will be expected to:
Coordinate with other departments regarding quality and operations, and our customers regarding quality concerns, and service providers regarding the services they perform
Improveme our company’s ability to conform to our customer’s quality requirements
Review inspection results to ensure they are correct and, as needed, perform supplemental inspections on product to determine acceptability of product
Communicate inspection findings to the Purchasing and Sales teams and advise on the actions necessary to resolve issues
Conduct training on quality awareness and product knowledge
Education, Experience and Knowledge
4-year college degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
5+ years’ experience with inspection and classification of various semiconductor and electronic products with demonstrated ability to make correct conformance decisions
5+ years of recent related working experience for independent distributor or semiconductor manufacturing
Knowledge in handling components inside Electrostatic Protective Area (EPA) required
Proficient in all Microsoft software applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, etc.) required
Basic understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System (preferred)
Knowledge in RoHS requirement (preferred)
Knows basic failure analysis methodology such as decapsulation, solder test, basic electrical/functional test (preferred)
