VaynerMedia is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead the West Coast analytics practice. This person will balance the standard experience and skills in digital advertising with a comfort in evangelizing the practice among internal and external stakeholders. They will also collaborate frequently with the NYC-based analytics lead of the agency.
The Senior Data Analyst should have experience with/understanding of measuring:
Paid media (including ad servers, viewability, and ad fraud)
Social media (including platform analytics, listening)
Websites (including Google Analytics, ecommerce conversions analysis, and audience profile building).
ROI contribution measured by mix models and multi-touch attribution
Brand lift surveys
Beyond these hard skills, the Senior Data Analyst will:
Serve as the face of analytics for VM-LA in new business pitches, clients, and internal stakeholders
Create educational programs for non-technical stakeholders
Partner closely with the office managing director and head of new business in matters of process and product
What you should bring to the table:
A bachelor's degree or entrepreneurial street cred
3-4 years of experience working with large data sets, quantitatively and/or qualitatively, from initial research through to insights generation
1+ years experience working directly with and presenting to clients
1+ years of managerial experience
Experience with statistical software such as R, SQL, SAS, SPSS
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Google Analytics, social listening (Netbase, Crimson Hexagon, Brandwatch, etc.) and Simply Measured
Experience working in the agency/start-up/social space, working in statistical and data analysis is a big plus
