The Manager of Procurement leads the work process design, policy development recommendations,
solution design, and operational execution of all of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing/RFX activities
globally. As the service expands, this role also requires the organizational design and project
management of related project activities. The role is responsible for ensuring the ongoing delivery of all
associated KPIs and regular analytics to ensure superior delivery and execution. As the global process
owner for RFX processes, this role is the decision maker for the work process design, as well as all
internally and externally facing documentation.

Strategic Responsibilities:

 Establish overall Procurement e-Sourcing Services Strategy inclusive of technology, work process,
business process outsourcing and delivery.
 Lead the Procurement and E Sourcing services for Global Procurement across all Categories and
Brands.
 Turn overall Sourcing strategy for direct and indirect spend categories into Organization, Roles, and
Solution- Design.
 Turn strategy into action by identifying strategic and tactical opportunities which drive all aspects of
value across sourcing categories and brands (e.g. cost, cash, speed, risk, agility, quality).
 Contribute to global Procurement strategy development based on data insights.
 Identify business requirements and design e-Sourcing services to enable the Procurement
organization.
 Analyzes markets and assesses risk, gathering intelligence on fundamental conditions and technical
information that affect the sourcing strategy.
 Align systems and reporting globally to ensure efficiency in reporting and a “single version of the
truth”.
 Works with organizational senior level management in a variety of activities regarding strategic
sourcing, supplier initiatives, cost reduction activities, and other related supply chain initiatives as
required.
 Identify and lead cross functional strategic sourcing projects with significant scope, impact and
complexity for the acquisition of goods and services and recommends specific courses of action to
the Sourcing Team or management.
Operational Responsibilities
 Improve Procurement efficiency and effectiveness by digitizing and standardizing the sourcing
process.
 Operations leadership and escalation manager.
 Serve as internal (Business Partner) and external (suppliers) escalation point for the Global
Procurement COE Organization.
 Leverage data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to develop predictive models
identifying and supporting strategic opportunities and data-driven decision-making
 Work with stakeholders to identify, manage, and evolve relevant BI dashboards which provide real
time performance / KPI optimization capability and create visibility of systemic performance gaps /
root causes
 Maintains effective communication with management regarding developments within areas of
assigned responsibilities and performs special projects as required or requested
Project Responsibilities
 Lead the e-Sourcing and Business Process Outsourcing activities, providing value added services to
the Procurement Organization (Direct and Indirect Procurement)

 Transition and centralize transactional activities to the new COE allowing brand and category teams
to focus on higher value activities (SRM, Value creation)
 Lead x-functional project teams and coordinate project execution across various Project Tracks and
ensure x-track alignment and on-time delivery of execution
 Plan and initiate service expansion into new spend categories
Governance Responsibilities
 Lead Business Process Outsourcing assessment and governance
 Manage Technology Platform and Business Process Outsourcing supplier relationships.
 Work with stakeholders to maximize the value of E Sourcing and outsourcing.
 Design and Lead regular (e.g. monthly) performance and KPI reviews with service providers. Analyze
operations data to detect trends and anticipate required interventions.
 Maintain internal skill levels to allow Business Process Outsourcing additions and transitions over
time
 Recognize & adopt best practices in Procurement and E-Sourcing Services
Qualifications/Experience
 Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Finance or Procurement related study preferred
 4 Years Minimum Experience
 Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office product, including Excel, Access, Outlook, Word,
PowerPoint and Project
 10-20% Travel Time
Specs & Experience
 Demonstrated value realization track record and digital transformation success leveraging E-Sourcing
technology and Business Process Outsourcing.
 Demonstrated ability to develop, recommend and execute negotiating strategies.
 Demonstrated ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood
business concepts and vice versa.
 Demonstrated ability to influence team members, suppliers and business owners.
Skills
 Procurement, supply chain, E-sourcing technology (esp. NetSuite/Coupa/SAP/Ariba), analytics &
advanced data visualization, benchmarking
 Analyze business intelligence, and documenting processes
 Develop and deliver presentations to senior level decision makers and suppliers.
 Media and Advertising experience a plus.
