You’re creative, you love thinking about new and fun ways to make content, you’re naturally keeping a pulse on social media content trends, and you’re a talented designer and creator with lots of enthusiasm and great communication skills. You have an understanding of the tools and resources necessary to make great social content. You value and understand the importance of speed, creating content for specific social platforms, and value understanding the performance of your creative once it’s distributed.
The Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Must know the ins-and-outs of Photoshop, After Effects, and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite
Has a 1 year+ experience creating daily social content
Understand photography, typography, design, and best practices in creating for social media platforms
Values the importance of good copy and strategy as part off effective design for social
Has experience design and creative ads for Facebook and Instagram
Loves a good meme
Has a POV on the best strategy for Instagram stories
Be able to execute designs and projects quickly across multiple accounts, both personal and business
Proactively be able to manage their time, be self sufficient, solution orientated, and is a self-starter
Have good interpersonal and communication skills
3D Design ability
Skilled creator for social media when using nothing but a phone
Previous work experience with technology team or developers
To be considered for this role, you must submit a examples of work, it can be a social media account or website.
Upon completion of the Phone interview you may need to do test work as part of the application process.
A Note about Resident roles:
This is one of the few entry level roles at VaynerMedia. The roles are trial period and are 40 hours weekly, paid an hourly rate of $15 per hour. Typical resident roles can be contracted anywhere from 6-12 months. It is our hope all Team Gary residents grow within their role and eventually could find a place within our team or within the VaynerMedia family.
