As a Quantitative Researcher at Vatic, you will research and develop innovative quantitative strategies. Researchers explore vast amounts of market data, applying novel machine learning algorithms and statistical approaches to discover and capitalize on trading opportunities.

 If you possess the following, we would love to explore what is available for you with our team:

  • Earned or will earn a PhD or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields
  • Relevant industry experience, or experience working as a Postdoc or Faculty in a scientific lab
  • Experience analyzing large data sets with rigorous statistical and ML/AI approaches, including classification, clustering, and regression
  • Ability to generate impactful research in academic or professional pursuits
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of time-series analysis
  • Advanced understanding of a high-level language for numerical analysis, Python (numpy/scipy stack) preferred
  • Exposure to C++ or related compiled language
  • Interest and enthusiasm for learning about financial markets (previous experience not required)

The base salary range for this role is between $175,000 and $350,000. The base salary range does not include any other form of compensation, such as any bonus amounts, or any benefits.  Factors that may impact the agreed upon base salary within the range for a particular candidate include years of experience, level of education obtained, skill set, and other factors.
