Our goal is to empower these individuals to lead healthy and meaningful lives by providing physical and mental healthcare support and connecting members to community programs. Our technology-enabled approach, developed by our own team of engineers and designers, ensures our staff and members are well supported.

Vanna delivers in-person and virtual community-based engagement through an interdisciplinary team of coaches and clinicians. We leverage partnerships with existing community resources to facilitate support networks unique to an individual’s needs and location - connecting them to established psychosocial rehabilitation programs, resources for housing, transportation, etc. and various digital engagement opportunities to address members’ needs. 

About the Role

Vanna is looking for a passionate intern with strong communication skills and an analytic mindset to lead strategic marketing and growth initiatives at Vanna Health this summer.

This role will allow you to be a part of an early stage (Series A), complex, and social impact-driven startup.

You will support the refinement of our marketing and growth strategy, working in close collaboration with our VP of Strategy, VP of Operations for the Philadelphia market, and Director of Community and Member Engagement. You will own the development of marketing materials from start to finish and support data-driven iteration on our approach to partnerships and member engagement.

Outside of marketing, you will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and “roll up your sleeves” to drive day-to-day operational success within our dynamic startup environment.  Based on your interests, we can also arrange project opportunities to gain exposure to other functions within the company, such as Product, Business Development, and Operations.

You will ideally be located in Philadelphia or within easy travel distance (1-2x per month), as that is where we recently launched our first pilot.\

Responsibilities

  • Developing presentations and marketing materials to support partnerships with key health systems and community organizations in Philadelphia
  • Developing creative marketing strategies and materials to drive successful member outreach and ongoing engagement through a variety of channels
  • Collecting data and systematically analyzing the impact of different marketing and engagement tactics; iterating to drive continuous improvement 
  • Researching market and competitive trends
  • Creating and managing dashboards to track progress and ensure key results are on track
  • Project managing a refresh of content on our website

About You

  • 2-4 years experience working in the healthcare industry, bonus if you’ve had experience working in the mental health space
  • Track record of managing complex projects and delivering high quality results 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for working in early stage companies and comfortable working with ambiguity
