As a Community Executive at Van Metre Homes, your primary focus will be delivering a world-class experience to our valued customers. You'll facilitate an exemplary purchasing experience for prospects and a seamless build experience for buyers, driving community performance and empowering your team to provide best-in-class customer service that sets us apart. The Community Executive will have an entrepreneurial spirit and proactively seek to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions. As a Community Executive, you'll have the autonomy to propose optimizations for more efficient business functions, streamlined processes, and customer-centric experiences, which will be instrumental in driving the success of your community and Van Metre's brand experience. Your ability to live and lead the implementation of Van Metre's brand experience will be crucial to your success as a Community Executive. In proactively identifying and resolving issues, anticipating outcomes, and making sound business decisions in partnership with appropriate resources, the Community Executive is essential to achieving a world-class brand experience and ensuring the success of your designated community.

Responsibilities 

  • Oversight: Manage day-to-day sales office operations and provide training and mentorship to managers and associates. Includes monitoring and managing the front- and back-end of the experience, from prospecting through settlement.  
  • Presentation: Ensure an optimal community appearance, both within the homes and around the community. Ensure the use of approved materials when presenting information to prospects, Realtors, and Buyers. 
  • Engagement: Provide exceptional communication via personalized outreach and follow-ups with prospects, Realtors, and buyers. Plan and implement engagement activities including broker events, open houses, and homeowner events. 
  • Closing: Conduct pricing appointments, provide sales presentations, demonstrate models and available homesites, review financing available, and utilize closing techniques to fill the pipeline and meet sales goals.
  • Backlog: Monitor and help manage backlog including construction status, loan status, and data accuracy, to meet settlement goals. Act as liaison between construction, buyers, and internal departments.
  • Insights: Ensure integrity of data used to generate prospect, traffic, sales, and backlog reports, and relay trends to the Market Intelligence and Strategic Marketing teams for consideration in pricing and marketing messaging.
  • Admin: Attend meetings with construction, loan officers, and other partners to ensure optimal operations. Perform administrative functions including new home orders, change orders, transaction recaps, etc. 

Requirements 

  • 3-5 years experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality or real estate industry
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate industry, including an understanding of the new home build process
  • Experience in sales, and managing and coaching a team of representatives
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals and driving revenue growth
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and plans
  • Exceptional public speaking, problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
