Job Summary:

Valor is seeking a Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing organization. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a small team environment focused on building Valor’s team structure and team management tools. 

Responsibilities:

  • Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g., social media and professional platforms like LinkedIn)
  • Draft detailed and accurate job descriptions
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
  • Prepare and distribute assignments and numerical, language and logical reasoning tests
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers and/or VP of People
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of sourcing experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting for finance roles
  • A Bachelor’s degree 
  • Detail oriented with stellar verbal and written communication skills
  • High sense of reliability, initiative, and ownership
  • Experience with sourcing techniques
  • Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
