Job Summary:
Valor is seeking a Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing organization. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a small team environment focused on building Valor’s team structure and team management tools.
Responsibilities:
- Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g., social media and professional platforms like LinkedIn)
- Draft detailed and accurate job descriptions
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
- Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
- Screen incoming resumes and application forms
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
- Prepare and distribute assignments and numerical, language and logical reasoning tests
- Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers and/or VP of People
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5 years of sourcing experience
- 1-3 years of experience in recruiting for finance roles
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Detail oriented with stellar verbal and written communication skills
- High sense of reliability, initiative, and ownership
- Experience with sourcing techniques
- Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
