The Scale Group at Valor Equity Partners has five different verticals: Lean, Growth, Human Capital, Revenue Generation, and Corporate Strategic Investor Support. The Revenue Generation and Corporate Strategic Investor Support team is focused on helping Valor portfolio companies generate revenue within the Valor ecosystem. While helping drive revenue for the portfolio, the team also manages relationships with Corporate Strategic Investors including Starbucks and Nestle.  

 

Job Summary: 

 

Valor is seeking a Vice President to join the Revenue Generation and Corporate Strategic Investor Support team within the Scale Group. This role will be responsible for: 

  • Co-managing the Starbucks-Valor partnership 
  • Identifying and closely project managing business development and strategic partnership opportunities for Valor Portfolio Companies at Starbucks 
  • Managing quarterly Strategic Innovation Council meetings with a select set of Corporate Strategic Limited Partners, including Starbucks 
  • Sourcing and managing responses to research and data requests from Starbucks 
  • Developing, managing, and deepening close, trusted relationships with executives Starbucks and the Portfolio Companies focused on engaging with Starbucks  
  • Managing and mentoring junior associates supporting the Starbucks relationship 
  • Ideally, candidates should be located near or willing to relocate to Valor’s Seattle office.  
  • All Valor offices are currently open and operating. All team members are expected to come into the office five days a week and travel as often as needed (20%+).  

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience at Starbucks, additional experience at a high growth startup, top-tier consulting firm, investment firm, or leading corporation also considered 
  • Expertise that can be applied in partnerships, marketplace, direct-to-consumer, and/or product 
  • Advanced degree preferred
