About the opportunity:

Responsible for the day to day operations of assigned areas in the Imaging Department. Performs administrative work in planning, organizing, and directing the staff and services along with providing evidence-based clinical guidance.

 
What you will do:
  1. Administers and coordinates functions and staff in Imaging Services including but not limited to Diagnostic Radiology, MRI, CT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound to achieve clinical, service, and fiscal outcomes.
  2. Provides guidance and direction for supervisors in carrying out their responsibilities to ensure an even flow of work assignments, personnel, and patients.
  3. Responsible for development, interpretation, dissemination, and practice of departmental and hospital polices, procedure, regulations and information and all performance and quality improvement planning.
  4. Oversees billing and budgetary processes and ensures that care and services are provided at the most desirable cost to meet fiscal targets.
  5. Ensures department is in compliance with Joint Commission, Local, State, and Federal regulatory agencies.
  6. Establishes, identifies, and ensures systems and standards that promote patient’s safety.
  7. Reviews staff and departmental performance in relation to organizational goals and implements necessary change to effect continuous improvement.
  8. Serves as a clinical resource to the areas of responsibility.
  9. Creates a collaborative culture within assigned areas as well as the interdisciplinary health care team to ensure efficacy of services.
  10. Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

  • Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
 
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

Yearly Pay:
$107,509$153,588 USD
