Role Summary

Vacation® is looking for an experienced Sales Manager, Boutiques Division for our regional accounts spanning across high equity, boutique locations. You will be responsible for nurturing existing accounts as well as securing new business development across regionally based lifestyle boutiques, including hotel, spa, sports clubs, cafes, fashion, and other tastemaker retailers. As a Sales Manager, you have a proven track record establishing trusted relationships, winning new business and expanding existing accounts. You are excited to travel and build relationships with local lifestyle retailers to expand Vacation’s footprint. Additionally, you are comfortable understanding cost/pricing, processing of POs and have demonstrated experience in meeting or exceeding sales goals. 

Your role

  • Proactively manage ongoing communications with accounts, including daily monitoring of wholesale inbox, daily external sales rep communications, on-site visits, and connection with Vacation® senior management
  • Logging in daily to internal Wholesale Shopify portal to manage open orders, inventory checks, OOS listings, new product launches, and wholesale bundle features
  • Own the management and execution of the sales plan across boutique accounts and new business development opportunities - responsible for hitting monthly sales goals
  • Audit existing new customer onboarding process and provide process and platform optimization recommendations - including potential for new software integration
  • Activate local trade marketing initiatives with boutique accounts, including samples distribution, deployment of creative assets, and display management with accounts
  • Day-to-day management of outside sales representatives specific to boutique accounts, ensuring that KPIs are consistently met
  • Manage cross-departmental communications to ensure seamless experience for boutique accounts, including follow up on shipping/tracking information, invoicing and payments, returns and damages processing, and allocation management
  • Contribute to monthly inventory forecasting with our Sales & Commercial team, ensuring strong inventory holdings for boutiques channel for best in class service and delivery
  • Showcase in-market sales wins, including new accounts secured, display & merchandising excellence, on Slack, LinkedIn, and internal leadership communication

  • Familiar with calculating and managing sales order revenue, wholesale costs, margins, and trade expense reporting
  • Consider yourself a tastemaker, and pride yourself on staying current on emerging brands, boutiques and cultural trends 
  • Ability to leverage network connections that will build brand association through retail partnerships with new boutique accounts
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding revenue goals in the beauty industry and when necessary quickly pivoting sales plans to stay on track
  • Possess the ability to understand and analyze sets of data including sell-in and sell-through data to identify new selling opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of sales experience 
  • CPG experience required, beauty brand experience a plus 
  • Proven track record of result-oriented growth
  • You use sunscreen and love fragrance
  • You have a sense of humor!
