ustwo games is a 50-person, B corp certified games studio, best known as the creators of Monument Valley, Assemble With Care, Alba: a Wildlife Adventure and most recently Desta: The memories between. We are a multi-discipline team drawing from a diverse range of experiences and creative influences; our aim is to craft interactive entertainment with stand-out production values, heart and broad appeal.
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Officer to join our team. This role will sit within our wider Business Support team, reporting to the Head of People and Culture directly, and working closely with our Talent and People Coordinator.
This will be a 12 month fixed term contract, working 2 days per week from our studio in Oval and up to 3 days from home.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working with the Head of People and Culture in implementing initiatives and processes in line local legislation and the People and Studio Strategy.
- Providing general advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR processes and systems.
- Assist Head of People and Culture with providing advice and support as required in relation to performance, attendance, disciplinary or grievance.
- Overseeing HR metric reporting and analysing trends.
- Managing performance management processes.
- Working closely with our Talent and People Coordinator while mentoring them as part of their development.
- Support our internal DE&I efforts.
- Managing the recruitment tracker, database, and our Applicant Tracking System.
- Managing the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Keeping up with the latest trends in HR/the UK games industry.
Requirements:
- Strong HR generalist with administrative experience.
- Experience with ATS and HR systems (Humaans, Leapsome, Greenhouse, Culture Amp)
- Strong experience with managing and executing people and operations projects (training plans, working with our partners, engagement surveys and action plans, etc)
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Can communicate and build relationships with external and internal people across all levels.
- Experience with mentoring/training.
Desirable:
- Experience in games/creative industries
- Working in cross discipline teams (technical/creative/operations)
- Experience in managing DE&I projects/initiatives
