Role: Recruiter

Role Mission: We are growing quickly and need to attract high quality talent that will help take UrbanStems to the next level. We are looking for an in-house recruiter to ensure we are building a world class team! The qualified candidate that we are looking for will be energetic and quick learner and is passionate about growing this company. 

Primary Functions:

  • Perform full cycle candidate sourcing to locate passive & active candidates for open positions
  • Utilize applicant tracking system to manage candidates and post & manage positions
  • Identify & screen candidates, conduct phone interviews, schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and send offer letters
  • Post open positions on job boards and monitor applicants
  • Focus on providing a great candidate experience through every stage of the interview process
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to assess future and current staffing needs
  • Research, plan, and attend professional and college career fairs as well as networking events
  • Manage weekly recruiting report and others as needed

Hard Skill Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience providing full life-cycle corporate recruiting in a professional organization
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Previous ATS experience, preferably Greenhouse
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Pro-active nature, assertive and resourceful, while being diplomatic, as required to succeed in a fast-paced People Operations/Recruiting Department
  • Highly organized and team oriented, with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt to the business needs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Exercises discretion with confidential information related to the Company and its employees
