About the Role
The Director, Advisory Services – Security Solutions will lead a critical sales practice in delivering unique capabilities in the sales organization. This role will work collaboratively with our Customer Success, Direct Sales, Advisory, Business Development, and Marketing teams to drive revenue for security solutions with new customers and our existing customer base.
This person will have a proven track record as a leader in security solutions and a deep understanding of how to deliver security technology solutions to enterprise clients. This role will require the ability to understand our clients' unique needs and challenges, identify opportunities for investment in their security strategy and readiness, and drive revenue across a distinct set of security-based solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of security technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture robust relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for customer experience solutions.
- Collaborate with Advisory Services, Sales, and Customer Success teams to perform thorough needs assessments within our existing client base.
- Recommend and position security solutions that precisely align with each client's strategic goals and challenges.
- Work closely with the UPSTACK team throughout the customer journey, spanning awareness generation to fostering customer loyalty and advocacy.
- Create compelling content to effectively communicate the value of the UPSTACK platform and the delivery of highly customized technology solutions in this space.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling security solutions to existing clients based on their evolving needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients entering the platform.
- Provide valuable insights and feedback from client interactions, enabling teams to deliver a world-class customer experience.
- Leverage industry trends, advancements in customer experience technologies, and unique competitive offerings to provide the most relevant recommendations to clients and share knowledge within the organization.
- Manage and prioritize sales opportunities within the existing client base.
- Utilize SFDC to track interactions, opportunities, and client feedback.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of delivering and managing security solutions, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
- Strong understanding of business operations and client needs, enabling effective strategy development and execution.
- Proficient in Salesforce-based CRM systems, with experience leveraging CRM tools to drive sales and manage client relationships.
- Awareness of industry trends and best practices in customer experience and sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting and influencing senior-level decision-makers.
- Strong organizational abilities, ensuring effective task management and project execution.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach to overcoming challenges and delivering value.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and can use these tools effectively in various business contexts.
- Proven negotiation skills, contributing to successful deal closures and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Adept at working as part of a team, driving cross-functional initiatives, and managing diverse work streams to achieve client deliverables.
- Flexible and adaptable to dynamic and fast-changing work environments, with a focus on maintaining high performance under pressure.
- Dedicated to customer-centricity, consistently delivering value and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Strong sense of personal responsibility, ensuring ownership of tasks and outcomes to achieve desired results.

Salary Range
Employees new to UPSTACK typically come in at the start of the pay range. UPSTACK focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure, which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, and job-related skills.
The salary range for this role is $145,000.00 to $160,000.00 annually.
