Title: Director, Business Development - Enterprise Accounts (AOR) Health System

The Role
As the Director of Business Development for Enterprise Accounts (Agency of Record AOR), you will play a crucial role in identifying and nurturing strategic relationships with large, enterprise-level entities within the health system/hospital sector for Unlock Health. You will be instrumental in enhancing Unlock’s reputation and visibility, and in establishing meaningful connections with key high-value prospects nationwide. Your ability to forge trusted partnerships with C-suite executives, particularly Chief Marketing Officers and VPs of Marketing, will be pivotal. Your deep understanding of Unlock Health’s comprehensive services will enable you to present integrated solutions spanning strategic consulting, branding, omnichannel marketing, content strategy, digital transformation, and managed care consulting. Your goal is to position Unlock as a holistic partner, capable of addressing multiple needs through a single, cohesive engagement. 

The ideal candidate is creative, insightful, knowledgeable about the healthcare industry, and adept at building strong, trusting relationships. You will understand the synergy between creative services, marketing technologies, and data analytics, and how these can all be leveraged to deliver unique value in a dynamic market. We’re seeking someone with a solid grasp of the challenges faced by health systems and who can articulate how Unlock Health offers a compelling solution to enhance their growth and overcome obstacles. This role involves collaborating with the larger business development team to promote a broad range of solutions encompassing all of Unlock Health’s capabilities. 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with senior decision-makers at key enterprise targets nationwide
  • Identify and nurture opportunities for comprehensive, cross-functional client engagements
  • Collaborate closely with the Unlock Health executive team, business unit leaders, and account teams to ensure a seamless transition of opportunities into successful client partnerships, maintaining involvement throughout
  • Build your personal brand as a thought leader by utilizing and contributing to Unlock Health’s body of knowledge, thereby enhancing your credibility and visibility within the industry
  • Raise awareness among high-value prospects, leveraging your existing network for effective prospecting
  • Keep a regularly updated pipeline of business development opportunities in Salesforce

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related healthcare field
  • Significant experience working with and selling into healthcare systems, preferably including roles such as CMO or senior marketing executives
  • Strong relationships in the healthcare industry, particularly with senior marketers, and the ability to reach into the CMO’s offices of the largest health systems in the US
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of crafting and delivering compelling presentations and content
  • Self-motivated, with a strong drive to succeed
  • Innovative, proactive, and eager to tackle new challenges

Nice to Have

  • Experience in business development roles, with a track record of successful outcomes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for managing contacts and tracking business activities
