Title: Broadcast Media Buyer

The Role
Unlock Health is looking for a Broadcast Media Buyer to join our growing team. The Broadcast Media Buyer is assigned a specific client roster and is responsible for the negotiation and day-to-day management of each client’s local broadcast, cable, and radio buys.
What You'll Do:
- Proficient in Broadcast, cable, and radio buying nuances, best practices, and negotiation strategies
- Demonstrates understanding of clients’ business objectives and goals related to broadcast buys
- Experienced in buying various sized local markets and is passionate about building vendor relationships
- Collaborates closely with internal teams, clients and external partners
- Proactive in collecting and sharing information regarding television ratings/programming and industry/marketplace/technology trends
- Proficient in post-buy delivery analyses, the billing reconciliation process and discrepancy resolution with vendors
- Works independently and can manage their own time/priorities
- Thrives in an ever-changing landscape while fostering an environment that allows others to love what they are doing
Ideal Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years in media buying, preferably in an agency environment
- Proven track record of successful buy negotiations and management with increasing responsibility
- Expert in media buying process and tools (Freewheel/Strata and/or Media Ocean, MTs Goals Uploads, SRDS, SQAD, Nielsen, and eMarketer)
- Expert in Excel, Google Sheets and PowerPoint
- Proficient in traditional landscape and terminology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree
