The Role
The Web Content Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all web content deliverables are written and edited in accordance with client brand guidelines and company best practices, and delivered within agreed-upon timelines. Additionally, the Web Content Specialist will optimize and post content via WordPress.

What You’ll Do

• Produce and deliver engaging, informative web copy created within client brand guidelines
• Utilize WordPress to post web content on client websites
• Research and develop a knowledge of industry-specific terminology
• Work collaboratively with the SEO, Accounts, and Design departments to ensure smooth delivery of completed projects within desired time frames
• Contribute to overall Content team success
• Strategize with Content and SEO team members to develop high-quality web content

Ideal Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, media communications, or related field preferred
• Relevant experience writing and editing content
• Knowledge of standard proofreading practices, procedures, and concepts
• Knowledge of WordPress and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional writing, editing, and time management skills
• Ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of different clients according to their brand guidelines
• Ability to identify and correct grammatical errors to ensure an error-free text
• Ability to craft SEO content that adheres to company best practices
• Excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic environment
• Meets productivity standards and deadlines
• Readily adapts to changes in the work environment
• Volunteers readily and takes initiative
• Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others

Nice to Have

•  Experience with AP style
•  Experience with social media and/or email marketing
•  Experience with generative AI tools
