The Role
This role is Unlock Health’s champion for digital marketing transformation, both internally and externally, with an initial emphasis on AI-enabled productization. This role demands not only a profound understanding of the current landscape in AI and other technological domains, but also an anticipatory vision of future trends. The successful candidate will possess a nuanced understanding of AI model selection, including the strategic deployment of open versus closed-source models, and demonstrate a mastery of advanced methodologies for AI model optimization and validation.

The ideal candidate will have a product management and technical background, and will be highly skilled in change management: adept at identifying the right steps, pace, and stakeholders to advance innovation at a pace that can be effectively metabolized. You will have experience leading cross-functional groups in varied departments to deliver a cohesive approach and roadmap that maintains Unlock Health at the forefront of AI-enabled innovation in our products and services. 

What You’ll Do

Innovation Strategy and Vision:

  • Lead cross-functional team across all Business Units to build a unified vision and roadmap for innovation as a core differentiator of our business
  • Champion the evaluation and adoption of advanced AI frameworks and tools, emphasizing the significance of ethical AI practices and model interpretability
  • Partner with technology team on identifying, vetting, and piloting the appropriate AI tools and technologies for productivity enhancements and growth opportunities – including managing approvals and documentation for master tool database
  • Work with legal, technology, and finance teams to ensure contracts and compliance efforts are in synch with all AI and digital transformation projects
  • Serve as Unlock Health spokesperson for appropriate use of AI in healthcare and marketing, regularly contributing to corporate marketing, new business, and other ongoing thought leadership

AI-Enabled Productization:

  • Spearhead the development and execution of a strategic vision for leveraging Unlock Health’s proprietary datasets through sophisticated AI models, aiming to transform insights into actionable, market-leading products
  • Partner with Chief Product Officer to determine which offerings are solely for internal use as a competitive moat, and/or which are appropriate to introduce to clients as a revenue-generating product offering
  • Guide the product management and engineering teams in the creation of AI-powered solutions, ensuring that these offerings are not only innovative, but also adhere to the highest standards of accuracy, privacy, and regulatory compliance specific to the healthcare industry
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify untapped opportunities for AI applications within healthcare marketing, leading the charge in developing and prioritizing new product initiatives that align with emerging trends and client needs

Digital Transformation Consulting:

  • Establish a strong POV about which offerings should be sold to clients via consulting engagements, and which should only be internally deployed
  • Develop tailored consulting solutions to guide clients in their digital transformation journey, with varied offerings and price points based on clear market segmentation
  • Partner with the President to develop clear staffing plans based on revenue and profitability targets

Ideal Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years in a product management role, with a significant focus on AI-driven innovation, including hands-on experience with AI model development, deployment, and scaling
  • Deep technical expertise in AI and machine learning technologies, with a proven ability to critically assess and apply AI models in solving complex business challenges
  • Familiarity with the latest AI research, tools, and platforms, and a demonstrated capability to apply these advancements in a healthcare marketing context
  • Robust understanding of the healthcare and marketing industries, particularly digital transformation challenges and opportunities
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of inspiring teams and driving AI initiatives to successful outcomes
  • Strong project management capabilities, adept at balancing multiple projects and cross-functional team dynamics to achieve innovative product solutions
