Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting UA’s digital marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include social media scheduling, posting, and engagement, and assisting with digital advertising efforts. The ideal candidate will have brief experience with social media marketing and be comfortable adopting UA’s brand voice to cultivate authentic conversations with fans and influencers across our global audience. Basic multimedia skills (audio, photo, video) and an understanding of the Universal Audio brand are also preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
Assist daily social media initiatives including posting, scheduling, engagement, and content curation on all UA social profiles
Forward technical comments and/or questions to Technical Marketing Specialist
Assist digital advertising efforts including creative and campaign builds, reporting, etc.
Maintain media library of internally-produced content and user-generated content (UGC)
Basic editing of photo, video, and other multimedia for social and advertising purposes
Help identify opportunities and optimizations for social team based off data and trends
Assist Content and PR teams with ongoing projects (partner and influencer efforts, etc.)
Requirements:
General knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices
Experience editing audio, photo, and video, preferably for social media use
Preferred Skills:
Creative-oriented and active on social media
Strong visual skills in photography and videography
Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Premiere), Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
Music background with experience in recording or music creation
