About the Role:
The Operations Specialist is a multi-faceted role with responsibilities in the technical configuration, database management, and other operational workstreams. We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills, the ability to think on their feet, and a keen interest in the health & human services space. You will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will possess a keenness for detail to ensure accuracy and quality while configuring our software.
What You'll Do:
- Work independently to gather, maintain, and configure large data sets with great attention to detail
- Accurately enter data into backend of platform for in-network and/or out-of-network organizations
- Ensure current processes are followed, and suggest process updates that support the work of the Operations team
- Perform auditing activities in the Unite Us Platform to maintain healthy and accurate networks
- Support and contribute to ad hoc projects such as database cleaning to ensure data health as well as content creation / documentation for business processes
- In-network responsibilities include:
- Configure community-based organizations, customers, and custom forms in the platform and add information into our CRM tool
- Vet community organizations as they onboard into coordinated networks to ensure appropriate service classification and required documents are received
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a community-based organization is structured appropriately according to their unique needs and workflows
- Out-of-network responsibilities include:
- Execute on manual builds of Resource Directories (including the Kaiser Permanente Directory, ad hoc manual builds for key customers, and strategic builds that support contract closure and execution)
- Manually review out-of-network organizations to review for duplicates and other data quality issues, and execute on processes to enhance data integrity
You’re a good fit for the role if:
- Basic understanding of databases
- Strong aptitude for managing a large data set, and/or Excel expertise
- Aptitude for learning new products and helping to break down complicated topics and explain them in simple terms people can understand
- Ability to come up with creative solutions to any problem you face, and know how to organize and prioritize your workload
- Strong listening skills, attention to detail, and decision making skills
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Knowledge or experience in the health and human services industry is a plus!

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position is remote, U.S. based
- The target pay range for this role is: $50,000 - $54,000 (paid hourly). This salary range represents our target hiring range for this role. The proposed salary will be dependent on the candidate's skills, experience, and competencies, as well as location.
