THE ROLE
We are looking to recruit a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer within our Cork and Dublin offices. These roles provide an opportunity to develop and expand your engineering skills as part of a multi-discipline, highly experienced design team. This will be part of our two-year graduate programme.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be involved in the electrical design for New-Build and Refurbishment Projects primarily for the Bio-Pharmaceutical Process Industry.
- Working with Process and Building Services Engineering P&IDs.
- Assisting in the design deliverables of
- Electrical LV / MV Distribution
- Electrical Building Services Design
- Instrumentation
- Automation Control Systems
- UPS Systems and Emergency Power
- Construction Design Support
- Coordinating with the Automation Design Engineers
- Liaising with Client Engineering and Maintenance Teams as part of the design process.
As part of the role, the Graduate Engineer will have the opportunity to attend meetings with the Client to define project requirements, with Equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers to agree on project specifications and with Contractors to provide Construction and Commissioning Support.
The Graduate Engineer will follow projects from design through construction to commissioning and completion.
THE REQUIREMENTS
The individual we are seeking will possess the following:
- Third-level degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proactive and a good communicator with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
