We are seeking a proactive CAD Technician our growing Unispace Life Sciences team. This role is based out of our Cork office.

The successful candidate will have full autonomy to grow and develop the role, with support from senior staff.. This position will play a key role in the Company’s expansion and growth. They will report to the Head of CAD.  



  • Under direction of Project Engineers, as well as utilising independent judgment, perform day to day project duties producing 2D and 3D deliverables for Pharmaceutical and Life Science engineering projects
  • Generation of P&ID’s, schematics, 2D and 3D layouts and models.
  • Develops design concepts; prepares documents during design development phase. Corrects and updates design documents. Develops solutions to design problems.
  • Uses computer aided design technologies to develop sketches, drawings and construction documents. Reviews drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards.
  • Coordinates design work with related engineering disciplines. Attend meetings and participate in the coordination of the work..



  • Experience and proficient in 2D / 3D AutoCAD.
  • Relevant experience, ideally in pharmaceutical projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with an ability to work independently and as part of a multi- disciplined team.
