About the role:
As a member of the Acquisitions team, this position is a great window into the world of Unison. The Post Closing Administrator is a support role with a significant responsibility, you will be responsible for the overall management of our collaterals and recordings. Within this role, you will build a foundation of industry knowledge that will be indispensable as you grow with Unison. 

This is a hybrid position with a requirement of 3 full days in our Omaha, Nebraska office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage our recording pipeline
  • Process, scan, upload, and review all closing packages
  • Ensure all necessary documents are received, recorded, and stored
  • Play an integral role with our custodians in terms of collateral review and storage
  • Ensure proper chain of custody for pertinent documents
  • Participate in quarterly portfolio audits
  • Manage overall data input related to recording information in internal databases
  • Provide feedback and direction to management regarding identified trends and errors
  • Escalate to management all unresolved issues, where appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • 2 years of experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Notary license - If you do not currently have a license, you will be required to obtain one once you have been hired
  • 1 year mortgage industry experience preferred, particularly in loan processing, closing, or post closing 
  • Knowledge of real estate transactions and recording norms
  • Impeccable organization skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Attentive to details, with ability to identify trends and patterns
  • Able to complete work independently and coordinate within the team
  • Great curiosity and an eagerness to learn - ask all the questions and learn all the things! You will get as much out of this role as you are willing to put in
  • An ownership mentality – no task is too small, no problem is too big
