Your Mission 

We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator to join our team and manage our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff members. The IT Administrator will report to the Director of IT and Information Security and be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, providing technical support to end-users, and implementing IT security measures to protect our data and systems.

Within 1 month, you’ll:

  • Learn about the current IT infrastructure, technologies, processes, and organization structure at Unison
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide On/Off-Boarding support including the preparation of new hire hardware, upkeep of local inventory, and aiding in new hire orientation.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Administer critical Google Workspace services, including Drive and Gmail.
  • Administer Okta.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels are maintained. 
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Within 6 months, you’ll:

  • Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current tools and processes, then formulate strategies to enhance or maximize the utilization of these systems
  • Create and update documentation as it relates to system configuration and processes
  • Evaluate and monitor SaaS application adoption, inventory cycle, and cost analysis 
  • Build a documented process for SaaS applications.

About you

You are a  skilled and versatile IT Administrator and your experience will include:

  • Experience with Audio/Video conferencing platforms (Google Meets, Zoom, Teams)
  • Working knowledge of a broad range of hardware such as Server, MacBook, Laptop, Network Switches firewalls, APN, Printers, A/V, and mobile devices.      
  • Proven experience troubleshooting complex technical problems in person and remotely
  • Experience as an Okta administrator.
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools like Ivanti, Jamf, etc.
  • Proficient in managing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Administrator
  • Experience in ITIL methodologies
  • Proven experience in IT Administration roles.
  • Experience with Okta, Google Suite, Atlassian Cloud, or equivalent tools
  • Knowledge of security best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Provide after-hours or weekend support in case of an outage & C-Suite support issues.
  • Kneeling, crawling, and other positions access and maintain IT equipment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds of technology-related equipment

Unison team members are working a hybrid work schedule. This position requires work onsite 2-4 days per week, depending on home office location.  All applicants must be available to work onsite for the minimum days required.
