Union AI is seeking to hire the first Product Marketing Manager. The goal for the new Product Marketing Manager is to drive adoption and predictable outcomes with professional products, leading to renewals, expansion, and advocacy. To retain business, the Product Marketing Manager seeks proactively to eliminate barriers to the adoption of our professional products and demonstrate ongoing value. To increase adoption, the Product Marketing Manager brings some understanding of Machine Learning workflow orchestration to equip our customers with vital knowledge about Union products.  

In this role, you will help craft our product marketing strategy and drive our messaging for Union Cloud, including:

  • Create a product marketing plan for customer acquisition and retention that is tied to OKRs based on marketing effectiveness
  • Help with product positioning, pricing, and packaging 
  • Guide and support the product development team with secondary market research and insights.
  • Identify pain points for data scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, and MLOps engineers who need to scale their entire Machine Learning workflow
  • Define and maintain an ideal customer profile based on our performance in various market segments and market opportunities
  • Craft persona-based messaging and execute the Union Cloud go-to-market plan
  • Develop content that answers the user and market problems and provides messaging for thought leadership, awareness, and customer education
  • Drive demand generation activities via online events, blogs, PR, social media, community outreach, and other media outlets
  • Help with sales training, presentations, demo scripts, and enablement with relevant, focused material
  • Generate strong momentum ahead of new product launches, including project management for the launch process 
  • Identify product references for industry and customer referrals

About you

  • You have previous experience in a similar role supporting marketing and products for data science, machine learning, or data orchestration, where you have planned and executed go-to-market strategies
  • You are a storyteller that can convey complex ideas in a clear, engaging, interesting, and concise way that demonstrates customer empathy
  • You can speak and write effectively for a variety of audiences and channels of communication
  • You are aware of the latest trends in the broader machine learning and data orchestration field
  • You are highly organized and thrive in a high-volume environment that will naturally have ambiguities and competing priorities
  • You are internally driven by curiosity and continuous learning. You have proven that you can be entrusted with big decisions, and you strive to bring thoughtfulness and empathy to all of your work
  • You are humble and collaborate well with other people. You thrive in team settings and exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
