Summary: The Project Manager reports to the Vice President of Product Development and is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing software projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires coordination of team efforts, management of resources, and alignment with business objectives to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions.

Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an experienced Project Manager. The ideal candidate will take ownership of project scopes, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet the organization’s quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and developers to ensure alignment with business needs and technical capabilities.

Industry: This position is part of the product development team dedicated to delivering advanced cross-media publishing and communications solutions for various industries.

Responsibilities: Successful candidates will demonstrate proven experience in software project management by effectively leading and coordinating multiple projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Managing changes to project scopes and schedules while maintaining alignment with business goals
  • Facilitating communication between stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Conducting regular status meetings and providing project updates to stakeholders
  • Ensuring projects adhere to established processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborating with teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
  • Using project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or equivalent to track progress and manage workflows
  • Driving resolution of issues and conflicts within the project team

Experience: Candidates must have at least five years of experience managing software projects, including:

  • Proven expertise in project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Experience with tracking project budgets, timelines, and dependencies
  • Effective stakeholder communication and expectation management
  • Experience using project management tools like Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project

Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
