About this role

In this role, you will manage a successful, talented and engaged Enterprise sales team in the EMEA region while hiring new talent for future growth. You will report to the Senior Director, EMEA Enterprise Sales and play a key part in the Udemy Business EMEA leadership team. This role will give you the opportunity to lead and shape a fantastic team in our enterprise space (focusing on companies 5k+ employees in size). To be successful, you should pride yourself as a people leader first, have a strong process-orientated style as well as a positive attitude which you use to influence those around you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives focused on new business sales in the EMEA region (Benelux; Nordics & CEE)
  • Demonstrate your passion for coaching and developing employees through personal and professional mentorship
  • Communicate job expectations with team members by planning, monitoring, and appraising individual sales results
  • Accurately forecast new sales pipelines along with add-on bookings
  • Help refine processes for the Enterprise Sales team from onboarding forward
  • Focus on innovation of current best practices to serve the needs of the team and business as it grows
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales/Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing and Content to drive the business forward
  • Collaborate with sales operations to identify technology, strategies, and processes to better achieve revenue goals
  • Lead a sales-driven culture in a high energy, fun, fast-paced environment

What you’ll have

  • 8+ years of sales management and people leadership experience, preferably with a focus on EMEA region (Benelux; Nordics; CEE)
  • Experience managing a team/s of Enterprise or/and Strategic Account Executives
  • A proven track record for hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining key talent
  • Experienced in dealing with large enterprise customers, understanding their buying cycles and navigating through complex org structures
  • Strong drive for results, while retaining a focus on consistently delivering a great customer experience
  • Exceptional skills in prospecting, discovery, presentation, buying behaviours, and overcoming objections
  • Organisational agility; knowing how to get things done through formal and informal channels
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and other sales tools
  • Fluency in Dutch is an added bonus but not a requirement
