Udacity is looking for an proficient Technical Program Manager who can work across engineering disciplines to complete cross functional projects. A successful person will be able to understand the technical underpinnings of projects, identify future opportunities, and improve processes over time. Projects which this person will manage will touch all parts of our engineering efforts including Security, Privacy, and to improving SLAs of our services globally.
Responsibilities:
- Track projects and tasks, communicating schedule and technical considerations to senior leadership.
- Multi-task and prioritize activities for quick execution of critical path work items.
- Understand the end-to-end solution and implementation path in order to execute security projects.
- Influence product priorities, design, engineering, and test.
- Engage cross-functional technical leads to build a collaborative, scaled approach to data protection across Udacity.
Requirements:
- Experience working with engineering and non-engineering teams and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to learn and master the technological underpinnings to the new functionality you are managing.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, related field,, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience leading or tracking technical projects to launch.
