The international team consists of entrepreneurs, engineers, product, student services, and marketing professionals, all of whom will be stakeholders in our international growth. As a member of the International team, you will work on features and platforms that will impact the lives and experiences of students in China, India, Brazil, Germany, Egypt, and beyond.

Responsibilities:
- Drive new feature development and help (rapidly) scale our product and platforms for international markets
- Master a complex ecosystem of microservices to wrangle data and architect robust engineering solutions
- Ship code for high growth, high visibility markets, every day, for tens of thousands of users
- Write high performance code designed to scale
Requirements:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Familiarity with Golang, Ruby, Javascript/NodeJS/React and strong proficiency in at least one
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Working knowledge of git for version control
- Understanding of Unix tools
- International experience and/or working on international products a plus
- A user-centric mentality for building products
- Passionate about education
