About the team

In the strategy team we have a goal: define and implement a "successful & sustainable growth strategy", to reach our mission as a team "perfectly align short-term company objectives with Typeform's long-term vision and enable typeformers to take and execute strategic decisions". You'll be reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Development, and defining and executing a winning M&A strategy.

About the role

You'll explore new inorganic business opportunities outside Typeform that can help us grow faster and boost our own value proposition to the end customer. Your mission will be to design and execute our M&A strategy and coordinate it with the key stakeholders of the company.

What you'll do:

  • Perform detailed strategic analysis of opportunities (market and company analysis, strategic fit, value proposition, business models and financial forecasting)
  • Execute the M&A strategy of the company together with key stakeholders
  • Assess the potential and value M&A targets. Conduct company valuation and financial modelling analysis through various methodologies (advanced knowledge is not required)
  • Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders in potential target companies
  • Coordinate and execute all stages of a transaction process: strategic analysis, sourcing of opportunities, due diligence, execution of the transaction, negotiation of legal documentation and post-closing
  • Perform detailed strategic analysis of opportunities (market and company analysis, strategic fit, value proposition, business models and financial forecasting)
  • Assess the potential and value M&A targets. Conduct company valuation and financial modelling analysis through various methodologies (advanced knowledge is not required)
  • Work with the Director of Corporate Development and the Chief of Strategy to answer key company questions and define our next best move in M&A

About you

Here's what we are after:

  • 2-5 years' experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity or corporate development.
  • Identification of M&A target and assessment of acquisition efforts
  • Comfortable to work in financial and valuation modelling
  • Experience performing detailed strategic analysis of opportunities (market and company analysis, strategic fit, value proposition, business models and financial forecasting)
  • Expert coordinating and completing all stages of a transaction process: strategic analysis, sourcing of opportunities, execution of the transaction, negotiation of legal documentation and post-closing
  • Excellent organization & time management skills (Processes efficiency)
  • Relationships builder with M&A target
  • Conducting company M&A valuation analysis through various methodologies
  • Carrying-out financial analysis and modelling
  • Company and Market Research of financial markets and public companies
  • Coordinating Due Diligence activities
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams

These things aren't essential, but they'll help you hit the high score:

  • Previous experience in SaaS, Martech or Software companies
  • You've already used Typeform and know a bit about our customers.
  • Experience in integration M&A targets
