The Mission:
The Senior Manager of FP&A will be a hands-on strategic leader who will build and manage Typeface’s financial planning and reporting infrastructure to support the company’s growth.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Build and maintain the underlying forecasting models based on the drivers of the business.
- Develop dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor business performance. Provide management with insights into drivers of revenue and expenses, as well as risks and opportunities.
- Lead strategic projects and support senior leadership on ad hoc research and analysis.
- Beyond budgeting and planning, act as a thought leader, partnering with stakeholders to drive operational efficiencies while supporting company growth.
- Partner with the Sales & Marketing to support execution of their strategy, including pricing and packaging, resource planning, and ROI analysis.
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure data accuracy and consistency as well as develop and implement financial management policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or related field.
- 8+ years of directly applicable experience with time spent in FP&A, preferably in a high-growth and fast-paced start-up environment managing full P&L
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of breaking down complex issues into actionable plans
- Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization
Base Salary
The salary range for this role is $140,000-$200,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
