We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Technical Recruiter to expand our talent acquisition capability. You’ll join Tempus Ex at a critical point in our growth trajectory as a full-cycle recruiter. You’ll be the primary stakeholder to build exceptional technical teams and recruit across a wide variety of technical roles. Reporting to the lead recruiter you will create an inclusive, consistent framework for our hiring.  You’ll join a small and scrappy team in a hands-on role where you wear many hats and get to make a real, lasting impact in the space.

What You’ll Own

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and ensure the recruiting process meets, if not exceeds, expectations.
  • Source, connect and engage with passive candidates in the market through unique tools, sites and events.
  • Communicate effectively, timely and creatively with candidates during all stages of the interview process to make sure the candidate experience is top notch.
  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process: review resumes, source candidates, manage applicants through our ATS (we use Greenhouse), conduct pre-screening calls, close candidates, know our product, contribute to our solutions and be an awesome team player.


What You Need to Succeed

  • Has a proven track record in owning the full-cycle recruiting process and hiring technical talent in startup environment 
  • Understands deadlines and goals and can operate with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality.
  • Loves working in a super collaborative, high-tech, fast-paced environment and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty - that is, nothing is beneath you if it closes candidates and helps us grow.
  • Communicates, if not over-communicates, effectively and effortlessly with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Embraces all of the fine details in both written and verbal communications.
  • Is familiar and comfortable with Greenhouse or  similar Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Is passionate and curious about technology, media, and sports
