About the Role

Twitch is building the future of interactive entertainment. Every part of the work we do is with the goal of making Twitch even more efficient, resilient and responsive.

We are rapidly expanding our sizable infrastructure and are looking for someone that can help facilitate the growth of the Twitch Network. You will be responsible for implementing and on-going operations management of the next-generation technology hardware supply chain for Twitch. You will take ownership for the global shipping and logistics of server and networking hardware in support of Twitch's industry-leading live video platform as well as the spares and disposal processes. You will work closely with our Amazon counterparts to advocate Twitch needs in Amazon's global ecosystem to facilitate Twitch expansion to new and growing markets. You will work with internal stakeholders to define service and support levels, measure and manage the delivery and performance of vendors.

You Will:

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and scale
  • Engage with peers teams in AWS and Amazon to leverage the Amazon supply chain ecosystem (Teams, processes and tools)
  • Identify and manage lists of alternate vendors for supply chain systems comparing price, delivery time and service
  • Understand the business processes around procurement and supply chain
  • Understand the technology capabilities of Twitch and AWS systems
  • Lead business teams through mapping their processes to tools and capabilities documenting how processes flow through teams and systems
  • Convert business requirements to high level technical requirements
  • Break high level requirements down into functional requirements
  • Identify where adoption of or new systems, automation within systems or integration between systems can reduce effort and improve quality.
  • Document and facilitate build/buy/adopt AWS proposals
  • Create and own a supply chain systems roadmap
  • Track any new requirements (including onboarding tasks) through technical team delivery
  • Lead training internally for teams impacted
  • Track issues to resolution, owning escalations within GI, Twitch or AWS if needed
  • Manage Twitch supply chain team through the AWS systems product lifecycle
  • Work cross functionally to identify and apply best practices and continuous process improvements
  • Be part of defining, executing and managing a lightweight, efficient and reliable procurement process
  • Maximize efficiency by identifying key levers that have the greatest impact on operational efficiencies
  • Identify, report, and manage key metrics to track performance and support continuous improvement

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience; Master's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning, and task delegation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the onboarding to and adaptation of business systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work with, guide and influence software development teams
  • Creative thinking skills with an emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer
  • Professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
