About the Position
Twitch is hiring our first Head of Agency Development to join our NYC office! Directly reporting into our Head of US Sales, this position is a key driver of relationships to the stakeholders of agency holding companies specifically in the US. As a thought leader to the industry, the Head of Agency Relations will work collaboratively with agency leadership to educate and evangelize Twitch’s capabilities both nationally and globally.
Successfully create key partnerships at holding agencies to influence and motivate advertiser business strategies
Effectively present and communicate Twitch’s value proposition in correlation to key market trends agencies are facing
Develop and negotiate trading agreements at an agency holding company level
Be a trusted thought leader to both external stakeholders and investment teams throughout the country by leading consistent agency education initiatives and events
Collaborate with internal sales teams to introduce relationships at various agency levels to strategically and thoughtfully achieve revenue goals
Work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and content teams to effectively communicate new agency initiatives
Will build, lead, motivate and train an agency aligned team to contribute to overall sales goals
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field/discipline
Track record of successful sales management/relationship management
10 + years of experience selling in digital media and most recently in a strategic role focused on relationship building with agency and investment leadership
Five years of successful management of recruiting, building and mentoring teams
Proven success in telling stories through Twitch data to influence buying decisions for key stakeholders and C-level decision makers
Experience buying video and programmatic
Digital Agency background is preferred
